For the past 15 incredible years, Groovy Gecko has been a beacon of joy and inclusivity in the nightlife scene in Milton Keynes. What started as a simple yet powerful idea—a nightclub exclusively for adults with additional needs—has blossomed into a much-loved institution.
Held on the first Tuesday of every month at a buzzing club venue, Groovy Gecko delivers an unforgettable night out. With a fully stocked bar and a professional DJ spinning the tunes, it offers an authentic and energetic club experience where everyone can enjoy the excitement of the dance floor.

What sets Groovy Gecko apart is its commitment to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space where adults over 18, whether they’re attending independently or with a carer, can truly let loose and have fun. The atmosphere is electric, and the sense of community is palpable from the moment you step through the doors.
We owe a huge thanks to Popworld in Milton Keynes, who generously host the event. Their fantastic staff not only run the bar but also give the club over to us on Groovy Gecko nights, transforming it into a space where everyone can shine.
The success of Groovy Gecko wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of our dedicated team. While we have a brilliant Groovy Gecko manager at the helm, the real magic happens thanks to an amazing group of volunteers and even some participants, or "crew members," who help run the night. Together, they create an experience that’s unforgettable for everyone involved.
