Volunteer role:
Workshop and Events Assistants
One of the most vibrant volunteer roles at Inter-Action MK involves helping produce arts workshops and events that engage the community in original artwork, performance, and entertainment.
We're always seeking dedicated, friendly people to assist with workshops and events, from planning and facilitation, to stewarding and running creative activities. The possibilities are endless—we welcome new ideas and encourage you to develop your own interests and skills.
Volunteer role:
Groovy Gecko Club Night Assistants
A very well established and much loved club night for adults with learning support needs. We are always eager for some extra pairs of hands to help set up and decorate our wonderful Pop World venue, befriend the club goers and to get the crowd up with some funky moves on the dance floor!
One of the many strengths of the club is that adults with support needs can also become a part of the crew – managing the themes of the nights, developing as a DJ, MC-ing for the crowd and encouraging the members, new and old, to let loose and have a great time!
The club is held on the first Tuesday of every month at Popworld from 7.00pm-9.30pm.
